I love the caring and compassionate people that work here. My fiance surgical team was amazing. How ever I'm disappointed with how much they expect her to suffer. I have had people who were given double the pain meds for the gallbladder surgery. When I call 2 days later because of Xmas I'm told to there's nothing they can really do. I WISH I HAD ASKED what they were sending her home with. If I had known I would have CANCELLED THE SURGERY and took home Christmas Eve. So I didn't have to watch her suffer so much. The schedulers, front desk staff and patient advocates never answer their phones and they are many weeks behind on everything! DON'T point this out or point out anything substandard or they will retaliate by telling you one thing then immediately changing it, giving you a fast appointment then immediately canceling it and rescheduling it far into the future and other such retaliatory and unprofessional behavior!! The providers are great, scheduling was very inconvenient and the case managers in my opinion are very unhelpful. They really drill it in you that they will be your providers and walk with you during the whole process and after. However after the surgery if you have complications the best way to communicate is through MyChart they say. I get adidferent person that answers my messages everytime and never any help. I just go to my PCP now even though it's all surgery related.
Karen the RN is lazy and rude as all hell. I can tell she doesn't care about other people's needs. I'm gonna report her I don't want someone with a lack of compassion caring for me. No I won't call the pharmacy for you, that's your job.
