Dr. Shands is supposed to specialize in hypertension but when our family member came in there shs ignored all medical equipment saying that he basically needed immediate medical help because she thought different than the machine. He died two days later at age 31 cardiac arrest. He was a loving person and is terrible missed by his 6 kids and 3 step kids. Everyone one will knkw the store soon because its about to go full blown public, text messages and all. Doctors should never diagnose a patient with their beliefs over what the machine says. That is pure negligence and now a life lost because of it. Stay away from there please!

Doctor said my child has asthma, therefore, there’s not much he can do for her chronic cough. I told him we had EVERYTHING needed for asthma (inhaler, spaced, nebulizer, etc.) He still ordered an inhaler and spacer... also ordered a steroid that literally has done nothing. She is showing all signs of a bacterial infection but won’t prescribe antibiotics. He was even cussing while checking out our daughter. Prior to walking back into the room the nurses were in the waiting room with us watching the football game on tv. Once they went back we were then called to a room... I highly suggest going else where with a doctor that looks at everything, who is professional, and acts appropriately with patients specifically children.

I would not recommend this place. Took a family member to get a TB test, the first appointment for the test took 45 minutes. There is no requirement to see a doctor, only a nurse. Then, went back to see the results, there is only a 24 hour window to get results. We Left after waiting an hour even though they knew we had another appointment to go to, and a nurse only needed to look at the arm and say yes or no to TB. The wait is ridiculous If there is no need to even see a doctor.

The admitting nurse was the rudest I've ever seen. She only guessed my weight, asked how tall it says on my driver's license, guessed my BMI. I told her a secondary problem I was having and she said because I have bronchitis they can only DEAL with that. She asked what I was allergic to and got upset when I said oh and one more thing. Just a cold person. I mean we don't need to become BFF'S but at least be nice a short time you're "helping" someone.

This place is the worst urgent care I've ever been to in my entire life. I received the run around for three days straight after a doctor there prescribed me the wrong medication. Every time I would call there to get help to receive the proper medication they would promise me a call back. No one ever called me back. Finally I just go back to the urgent care only to wait 45 mins just for the receptionist to tell me someone will call me and they would send over the correct prescription to the correct pharmacy. I waited another day.. still no call back. The next day after calling all day and still not getting the right meds I went back up there and the nurse was very rude and wasn't any help. Save yourself time and money and do not go here!

Love taking my sick son here online check in time 1010 3 infront of us here it is 1102 they have taken 4 deffrent pepole befor my sick child and tell me there still one more in front and that these were emergancy but they looked fine to me no blood no broken bones there just coughing neverming my son had a 102 fever all night fuck this place

Tosha was the nurse that checked me in, she is super nice and funny! This place is very organized and clean. Thanks for the laugh and wonderful urgent care experience.
