I had a CT Scan with Contrast today and all aspects of it from checkin to checkout went like clockwork. By definition the procedure is somewhat uncomfortable but Kudo's to CT operator Erik and Nuclear Medicine Allan for baking a great cake in the procedure and the icing on top for their humor.
I arrived early for my procedure. I was helped quickly and got started early as well! all staff was professional yet, personal and friendly. The Procedure went well, fast, and they were helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire visit. Very happy with my service.
Went in for an ultrasound this morning. Had a hell of a time just finding a parking space. Then no one told me I needed to check in at surgery registration. The lady I first spoke to at the lab/imaging check in in the physicians pavilion (petite, light brown hair) just said emergency dept, you'll see a sign for registration. Then at the emergency dept, the lady there said she couldn't tell me where to go because she was new. I went back to the first lady and had to pull it out of her that she meant SURGERY registration. X ray tech was easy enough to work with. My only complaint would be, please let us schedule x rays and not have them be walk in only. Maybe do both appointments and walk ins? I was told I was next in line, and then proceeded to wait for well over an hour. It messed up my day a little bit with other things I had planned. The only reason I'm not going lower is because I'm a disabled vet who usually gets care at the VA, and an hour plus wait is par for the course.
