We had a great experience at Deaconess Birth Center. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful. Even when our birth plan didn’t go as intended and we needed a C-section, the team made sure we felt safe, informed, and well cared for every step of the way. The staff was truly exceptional—especially Dani, our midwife; Abby in L&D; and Morgan and Rose in the mother/baby unit. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member we encountered was patient, knowledgeable, and eager to assist in any... read more

Edit: I recently gave birth to my second child under the care of the midwives. I had another fantastic experience. Renata was so supportive and acted as a great guide while I labored and delivered my 2nd baby. All the nurses were fantastic (special shout out to Sarah), and the facility was clean. This whole team really goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and go home feeling secure and educated. I really think there is no other place to have your baby. Gave birth to my beautiful girl on September 6th. The... read more

The nurse made up that our girl had a gender/chromosomal anomaly and kept repeating it to everyone. This statement got passed down to every nurse and followed us every shift until we got discharged, even after we corrected the nurses. It was unprofessional and cau... read more

I was admitted unexpectedly for a miscarriage delivery at 18 weeks. Although this was the most traumatic experience of my life, I felt so cared for by the staff. They held me and cried with me and made me and my family feel so loved. Sabrina and Ellie were amazing. They had excellent communication and always let us know what was going on. They put together a sweet care box of keepsakes for our sweet boy we lost. Although I hated that I had to go through that, I’m glad my care was in their hands.
