We met Dr. Scappino when we moved to NC 4 years ago and needed a new vet for our babies. She is a caring, thorough vet who willingly gives back to the community and who gives of her time to help less fortunate people. She also introduced us to Operation Catnip which is a a nonprofit organization that operates a high-volume, no-charge clinic (funded through donations) where feral and free-roaming cats are spayed/neutered & vaccinated with rabies & distemper. I am a vet tech who has been working in the field for almost 7 years now. I have worked at a huge 5 Doctor practice, a small town clinic, and like to dabble in shelter medicine. I can honestly say I've worked with 15-25 Doctors, maybe more. I have also gotten the pleasure of working closely with Dr. Scappino when she was working relief at my job.
