Living at Muirwood Apartments has been a truly great experience, thanks in large part to the incredible staff – especially Ms.Diamond J. and Ms. Sierra M. I have lived here for 25 years and it has been a wonderful place to raise kids. The city has so much for the kids to do, JohnSwett is the school that they will attend and schools are great. We are close to everything and it is safe. We have a new management company now and Sierra and Diamond are very nice and have stepped in and have done a wonderful job. The maintenance manager Sergio was Great he came in fixed my dishwasher and faucet handle, I put in a request with the app which was easy to use and spoke to Sierra the community manager, she got on it. I’ve moved here in February my experience since new management Sequoia has been Great! Nice units, good space in the bedrooms, very happy tenants!
Haven't had many things to complain about since moving here. Maintenance usually gets done for me in a timely manner. Though since the latest ownership change, I'm anticipating another rent increase due to all the face lift projects they have been doing around the complex. It is going to quickly become ridiculously overpriced for what it is, if it wasn't there already. Would be hard to recommend to someone at these rates, but in all other aspects it is a fairly nice complex in my opinion, just too expensive.
I would not recommend Muirwood Apartments to anyone. The entire complex is filthy and constantly reeks of a terrible odor. There are bugs everywhere, even ants crawling around on the 3rd floor, which should never be the case. On top of that, many of the residents are rude and inconsiderate, and the management is just as bad, if not worse. There are homeless people breaking into vacant apartments through the windows and staying there, and nothing is done about it.
