My child’s experience at Muirwood was phenomenal. The therapist Lily and Nurse Erica by far have given my child the attention they deserve during a very difficult and stressful time. They understood the needs and goals my child needed to get to so my child can achieve the goals for the future. All the staff, including the Dr are understanding, and I trust them. I would give them a high recognition. Kudos to everyone at MuirWood Teen Treatment for Mental Health!!!!
i was kept in here for over a month and they were convinced i had an eating disorder and then proceeded to send me home right after rather then sending me to another facility that could help me more. i did infact have an eating disorder and i got physically ill from this. i do not think their judgement was beneficial to my health. that psychiatrist doctor also told me i was lying about my hallucinations and did not listen to me when i said my meds were not working. i refused to take the medication and he sent me home a few d... read more
I would highly recommend Penngrove for any treatment your child may need. They have a great combination of everything a child needs to understand what they are going thru. The Parents are informed of what is going on every step of the treatment. Parents are also invited to attend online classes to improve and learn more about what our child's are going thru.
