I needed info on visitation, funeral date and time and could find nolink to give me that info.
You are not even allowed to bring food or beverages into Muir Brother s Funeral Home in Lapeer. Hope you do not get hungry or tired within the 10 plus hours you are there during one day. If so, plan on leaving your deceased family member, relatives and friends or co-workers who may come to pay thier respects. They won t even put mints out. Believe me, we asked. I received 5 from the bag in the office. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to give 0 stars, or I would. They are RUDE!!
Im from out of town and Im trying to locate info on my uncles funeral service and nothing online to help. Ive never came across this in the past. Funeral homes have for years posted the obit and service details on their websites, but for some reason Muir does not. Even the local paper in Lapeer doesnt post the full obit unless you subscribe to thier paper!! Unbelievable!
First, their website is unhelpful, and the employees are EXTREMELY rude. I work at a flower shop and have to check on service times. Every time I call the funeral home for times they are snobby and very arrogant. An employee there even made one of our delivery drivers so upset that they refuse to deliver to them. I cant even imagine how they treat grieving families. Our shop delivers to funeral homes in five different counties and Muir Brothers is by far the worst funeral home I have ever dealt with. This website is useless. Obituaries are not on this site. Also my parents were both at this funeral home, not by my choice. The people working there are snotty and not nice to you unless you were the person making the arrangements. I would not use this funeral home again. I would use Lynch.
Posted 2/3/11. Agree with disgusted. If there was a rating worse than "Awful" Im sure people would use it. Im out of town and trying to figure out funeral details for relative at Muir Brothers and could NOT find an obituary for any one including relative. Thankfully our hometown funeral home has better connections if anyone needs information.
I have never seen such a poor website for obituaries. I have been looking off and on for two days. I have looked at all the Muir Funeral Home web sites and struck out on all of them. Most funeral home web sites, obits can be found in seconds. I give up. I will call the joint to find out what I need to know.
One of the most compasionate famlies in the area. Handled my mothers sudden and unexpected death as she was one of their own.. Highly recommended
