Good Restaurant Mugs up is a Drive In restaurant that has been around for years. They are known for their rootbeer floats. The also have great burgers and fries as well as onion rings and other greasy food. Their food has been consistently good each time I have visited. The car hops bring the food out to you and you can eat it in their car. The servers are always very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Mugs-Up Root Beer Drive-In is absolutely the Best I have been eating zip burgers and drinking their great root beer since 1961. My mom worked for Mug's up at the Merriam KS location in the early 1960's before I was born. I just love the zip burger. I now live in Indiana and every time I get to Kansas city I get some zip burgers to bring back home with me. Wonderful little drive inn This place is just the greatest.. They have the most quaint little drive inn .. They offer the best rootbeer floats (black cows) in town.. terrific prices and always a friendly smile and the employees know you by name... When I had a special order and they messed it up, they went out of their way to make things right, not only did they correct the order but we got half off and free drinks on our next visit..
