Muenster Milling Co. was founded in 1932 by the late Joe Felderhoff. Joe would buy grains from local family farms we still work with today and mill their wheat into flour. Unfortunately Joe passed away in a car accident while Arthur was still in his teens. However, that didn't stop Arthur from taking over the business at an early age. I breed and show DDB and I am in love with Muenster milling co's Ancient Grains Large breed formula dog food. It contains all the things I need: High quality meat and grains that my dogs aren't allergic to AND all the things I had to add by hand: coconut oil, ACV, DE and turmeric. What is even more important is what it doesn't contain: Peas, Soy, Wheat, Corn and potatoes, all the stuff that contains phytoestrogens and allergy producing irritants. I feed a homemade raw diet. It's difficult to find training treats that are as good as what my dogs eat at meals and, at the same time, fit into their diet. The freeze dried treats and the bites are perfect and all my dogs love them! I recommend them to my clients and all their dogs love them too! So happy I found you!
My dog hates dog food. I struggled for years with different brands and flavors using coconut oil and chunks of real meat just to get him to eat. He loves to eat he is just super picky with dog food. Our dogs are OBSESSED with their freeze dried treats. They even called us a few weeks after we received them to check and see how our dogs liked them. I HIGHLY recommend Muenster!
:) I feed prey model raw. But my dogs love your freeze dried treats. So far they've just had the freeze dried beef liver. They use to get bored with any treats i tried giving them and would just walk off. Now the youngest gets really excited about the treats and looses his mind if he sees the bag. Having 4 dogs, and one of them with allergies it's hard to find treats that work for all the dogs. But these are working great so far.
My Lola used to get really bad intestinal infections all the time, even on other grain free foods. Since switching them to Meunster several years ago, they rarely happen now. My girls love the Salmon food plus all the treats. I own a small business and love supporting other local small businesses.
Tried Muenster Milling Ancient Grains Ocean Fish dog food after seeing an ad for it and using the Black Friday sale. My pups were doing very good on it but then I got guilted into trying Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach by a Canine Nutrition group on FB that only reccomends you feed "the big 5" dog foods or you are not doing what's best for your dogs. 6 days into a slow transition to PPP my youngest began with diarrhea and gas. That was it for me! We went back to what does their skin and stomachs good.
Love this company! My pups love it even more! I’m so glad I found this page! Shipping is super fast as well which is good since I live in California!
