Moving here from the hunter valley I wasn’t able to find a doctor in the area with their books open, closest one was 1hr 40 away and it was a 2 week wait. I went to the emergency department and was greeted with Absolutely amazing nurses and Dr on today. I was attended to so quickly as there was only one person ahead of me and with such knowledge. I needed an antibiotic as I had an infection and was promptly given it. Who knows how sick I would have gotten if it wasn’t for the amazing medical staff at Mudgee Emergency. Thanky... read more

I had an wonderful experience at Mudgee Hospital 22.07.25. Staff were friendly and efficient and Doctor on call was calm, thorough and caring. Yes you can expect to be waiting most of the day so pack a book to read and you'll be good.

Mudgee hospital is great. Dr Mel and Dr Alex in ED are wonderful doctors. The nursing staff are very caring. Maternity is excellent. Dr Bryant is a wonderful OB.

Very disappointed in nursing staff with recent interactions at ED when most are quite mean n rood n wouldnt no wat a smile was n depending on wat Dr you get will depend on the out come n experience n care you'll receive at Mudgee nsw hospital - nothing at all like the Royal prince afraid hospital where the nurses are like angels. Truly terrified scared of ever having to end up having to go back there. Ps.
