I had an awful, traumatic experience on Jan 20 , 2024 when trying to pick my meds up from the fallsway pharmacy. Mr Patel the pharmacist asked me if my dog was a service dog which is a Violation of the ADA ... And is clearly listed on the Federal ADA as a violation of my disability rights. Even though he had No reason to ask I did provide the ESP letter from my Dr. Etc and was told I was banned nevertheless and could not return with my ESA though the animal or myself did nothing wrong. Mount Vernon pharmacy is on time every month with my medicine and I just love it!
On June 28th, 2024, I visited Mt. Vernon Pharmacy at fallsway to obtain necessary medication. As a disabled woman, I rely on my service dog to assist me with my disability, which is legally permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act. (ADA) Upon entering the pharmacy, the pharmacist on duty, “Shivas Patel”, immediatly questoined the legitimacy of my service dog.
