I went to this M&T Bank a few days ago to change the last name on my debit card. Sonya helped me, but she spent more time focusing on the person she was training than on making sure my paperwork was correct. She handed me papers to sign and told me everything was fine, so I left thinking the update was complete. Later the bank emailed me saying the paperwork wasn’t done properly and I needed to come back. Trying to deposit beeej here for 20 minutes!!! Cashier doesn’t know what to do and her lame excuse is Saturday is just her!! That’s no customers fault!! Take your business somewhere else!!!
I hate this bank. Opened an account online and they're forcing me to go into a branch to sort out their incompetence. Account has been open for over a month and my direct deposit didn't go through. Cannot link external accounts. Can only go in Saturday from 9am-12 as I work weekdays. Garbage bank
My Mom had an appointment to open an account and she went, a week later they closed her account and she hasn't even used yet. Umm what??
