Scam alert. I was just quoted a 20% fee to cash a payroll check FROM M&T BANK! Tried to convince me to open an account, but why would I do that if this is how you treat customers? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I went to this M&T Bank a few days ago to change the last name on my debit card. Sonya helped me, but she spent more time focusing on the person she was training than on making sure my paperwork was correct. She handed me papers to sign and told me everything was fine, so I left thinking the update was complete. Later the bank emailed me saying the paperwork wasn’t done properly and I needed to come back.
