An 87 year old man goes to the Mt Auburn ER. He is dizzy/unbalanced and has a history of stroke. 3 days later his symptoms are unchanged. He has not been seen by a Cardiologist. He has not been seen by an Neurologist...even though it was requested by him and his family. He is released without so much as an aspirin. Additionally, even though he's unbalanced (his 81 year old wife needs to assist him) there is no staff, no wheelchair, to help him to the car. #malpractice #takingyourlifeinyourhands
My husband was admitted overnight from the emergency room. The care was adequate however they billed the insurance and used an incorrect code. ER visits that result in being admitted to the hospital our insurance will waves co-pay. We continually received a bill, I called every time and the billing office admitted that it was codes wrong and they would take care of it. Well we just got a letter from collections. While the doctors are good, all the customer service is horrifyingly poor. I have a billing inquiry/issue that I am trying to resolve for over a month now. People keep redirecting me to someone else or I am just stuck with an answering maschine. Whenever I was told I would receive a call back, I never did. The service is so slow, unprofessional and unfriendly, that I would never recommend using it to anyone who values their own nerves, time and money.
Now a days hospitals are doing business. Govt. Should cancel those hospital licenses and Dr. Licences who all are involved in this case.
