The Travel Clinic is very professional and knowledgeable. I use the clinic for travel to less frequented locations, such as Angola, Burundi, and Niger. I receive all necessary support regarding vaccinations, malaria, and precautionary measures. It's a wonderful resource!
DON'T GO THERE! When my husband called to make an appointment, nobody mentioned the price for a first visit. Our meeting with the PA lasted for less than 35 minutes during which he chit-chatted, volunteered to print documents for us and told us the prices of vaccinations. When we checked out, we were asked to pay for 2 appointments of 45-minute each. He took advantage of us, stealing our time and money. Everyone we talked to there is unreliable and unfair. DON'T GO THERE!
The PA was very nice and the appointment only took 15 minutes. The consultation itself was 10 minutes and 5 minutes for vaccine prep and administration. However, I was charged for a 45 minute consultation instead of 15 minutes (mine was only 10) which was really shocking when I got the bill and I felt cheated.
This clinic for consultation, vaccinations, and medications needed for world travel is available for the public, not just students and staff. I had a great experience here: the doctor was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me save some costs too. MSU has always impressed me because they see patients on time rather than making you sit in a waiting room forever.
