Reviews for healthcare facilities are always going to be a mixed bag, just based on the nature of American Healthcare. From my personal experience though, I've had great communication and interactions with Dr. Akanbi and the staff at MSU Endocrinology. When I ran out of insulin, I sent the office a message and phone call at 8am, and was able to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy by 12pm the same day. My first visit was with Dr. Abu Limon. He listened to me and took the necessary time to explain his recommended treatment plan. I really liked this provider. My second visit was rescheduled with Dr. Saleh Al Dasouqi. He reviewed blood work, my medical history and took ample time to answer questions. After much discussion, he ordered an ultrasound and additional labs. I am grateful to have found two wonderful Endocrinologists that care for the well-being of their patients.
They always put me on medications and never get the pre auth going so I’m without for 2 3 weeks feeling like crap and having to start all over at a low dosage. I’d rather die at this point then feel the way I have been feeling completely never this place they are not organized and the nurse line is a joke at this point
I heard this was a horrible office but I took it with a grain of salt and I became a patient here about 3 months ago after desperately searching for a new endocrinologist. They got me an appointment in a timely matter, the visit went well to my knowledge however since then I have been completely ignored.
