So this review is a little unfair because I’ve had to average out so many good things this institution does with some horrible systemic issues that affect most healthcare institutions in the country. For context, I’ve been going to this clinic for almost a year now. Positives: 1) Dr. Osilla is amazing, and is hands down the best doctor I have had. Never had a bad experience here. In the 10 years I have come here I have had to change doctors twice due to them relocating. All 3 doctors I had are great. They have all listened and have all helped me get the care and see specialists I have needed. However, the way the phone system works now is annoying. You go into two different holds. The second one is where you can asked to be called back at the number you called at after already waiting for quite some time. Not sure why it works that way. I feel nothing but seen and heard every time I come here. This is huge for me, as I have felt very unseen and unheard at MOST health care visits over the last 20 years. To the point I don't go in unless I absolutely have to and often would rather suffer than be disrespected. But not here, Dr Ocilla ALWAYS listens and takes her time. The physicians I have worked with at this MSU Family Med Clinic are WONDERFUL. I would easily give both Dr. Quinlan and Dr. Mulvey 5 stars! The reason for this poor review rating is due to trying to schedule or change an appointment. Every time I call into the office I have to wait a minimum of at least 25 minutes on hold until someone takes my call. They offer to hold your place in line and have someone return your call when a representative is available but this never works for me. I have tried using this option multiple t... read more
