Posting about 6 months after install. Couldn’t have asked for a better solar company. Their quote was more expensive than other companies but, for me, it was worth it. Looking at reviews of other solar companies, there’s always 1 star reviews about post install service, delays in troubleshooting that are drowned out by the initial 5 star installs. We hired MSSI 6 years ago. Here to say that everything Colette (the Owner) told us has in fact happened. We received all Federal & State tax credits; our bill has been reduced since the first month to an average of less than $10.00/mo; and, we receive a check from BGE every April to settle up!!! During the first 5 years while under the monitoring program, we were alerted of a couple issues and they came by and made the repairs immediately. I reached out to several different solar installers, and in the end went with MSSI. They were professional and efficient, and everything went perfectly smoothly. They kept me informed of the every step all along the way and even have answered questions about SRECs and tax refunds after the installation. I was looking for a local company, not one of the national chains, and this woman-owned business was perfect. We have now had the panels for 4 months, and our last electric bill was $30. After soliciting proposals from both sellers and renters of solar installations, we contracted with MSSI in October 2013 to install our system, and we’re glad we chose this company. Our installation was efficient and professional, and according to SolarEdge, the inverter/monitor system MSSI provided, we’ve produced 18.84 MWh of electricity since the installation, at an estimated value of more than $2500.00.
