Recently went for my birthday dinner and was disappointed. Ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. Our waiter was nice. The food was a little bit of the issue. I ordered the appetizer shrimp for $15.00 and got 5 shrimps. The shrimps were a decent size but not worth 15 bucks. That was my mistake for not asking how many came with the appetizer. I was excited to try Ms. Peach, but that excitement quickly left. My husband and I arrived for an early dinner around 4:30pm, so they weren’t busy. We were quickly greeted and seated. We ordered the deviled eggs and cornbread for starters. Both were significantly underwhelming. The deviled eggs tasted like straight salt and mayo, with a hint of bacon bits. NEVER AGAIN!! The food took an hour, the server messed up and didn’t tell us… they forgot food as well. Manager didn’t even come up to apologize even tho he knew the food didn’t come out the way it should’ve. Ridiculous
The customers service was great, when they got the order wrong, they fix it and give us item on the house. The atmosphere was also great and inviting. The food was very bland and not seasoned enough for it to be considered a soul food/ southern restaurant.
I’m in town on business and informed the waitress that I needed my own bill itemized and it must say table of one. as I will be reimbursed. She indicated that she could do it. Great! We ordered our food. I ordered gumbo appetizer, chicken and waffles with a side of greens, and a peach tea.
