I have been with Kris for over 5 years. I actually tracked her down when she started her own practice, that’s how good she is! She works with you, together, to create a plan of care. There is a review from a few days ago that seems to me like a temper tantrum. I hope the person finds the right fit. The medical provider and client have to be a good fit in order for medical care to work. Doesn’t mean a provider isn’t a good one. Just not a good fit for “everyone”

I had to cancel an appointment because I could not sleep the night before, o I did the responsible thing and called, then I get a response saying "I need to find someone better suited and she only does medication management". She is not empathetic and has zero sympathy. She literally tried to make me feel bad for doing the responsible thing in canceling my appointment instead of falling asleep and missing the appointment. I would highly not recommend.

She does not care about her patients. She’d rather over medicate them and keep them quiet.

I could not say enough positive things for Kris. I have been receiving treatment for almost 20 yrs, 4 with Kris. I have never experienced such complete treatment. She really listens, cares & does not push medicines. All of those things are very important to me!

I would give Ms. Yakura a 20 star, if permitted. I googled a list of providers that accepted my insurance. I left voice mails with at least 20 providers. The ONLY return call was from Ms. Yakura, and it was on a Saturday! From the onset she was professional, compassionate and empathetic. This was during the phone conversation. Upon meeting her, I immediately felt at ease and knew I had found the right person.
