The fact that this person chose a career in which they interact with people daily is tremendously confusing and should be seriously reconsidered. I have never encountered a more needlessly rude and infantile provider.
Karen Duarte PA is an exceptional dermatologist—thorough, prompt, and kind. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and has a wonderful bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. Highly recommend!
We had an appointment with Karen Duarte, PA at Advanced Dermatology Paramus for our entire family, with a $50 specialist copay per person. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited an additional 15 minutes past the scheduled time—yet somehow we were made to feel like the ones who were late. The experience was deeply unsettling. Never coming back to her , I think she lacks in bed side manners , she talks to fast when educating patients . She walked in and didn’t introduce herself and didn’t make eye contact with me. I told her about a very sensitive skin issue and she made a small smirky laugh when asking to see it . I think she needs more training on patient communication. The CMA was more personable and more responsive. Never going back to her to Karen Duarte, PA.
I had been coming to this office for a few years and was very happy. But now i am being told Dr. Sgambati retired and they are only accepting one insurance company at valley medical and it is not mine. Not so happy anymore.
