Visiting Amelia Island from Gainesville, FL and a couple we met on our sunset cruise said we had to check this place out. Such a delicious local diner. We got crab Benedict and the shrimp omelet. Food was fresh, hot and filling. Would recommend this local spot to others for the homey vibes and hospitality.
The lump crab omelette is a must have, they don’t skimp on the crab. The corn beef hash was 10/10. The hostess was so warm & bubbly. Ms. Sandra our waitress was friendly & The prices were reasonable!
Mrs. Carolyn's is a must-visit every time we're in Amelia Island. We make it a point to eat breakfast here on every trip because the food is consistently outstanding and the service always makes you feel right at home. Everything we've tried has been delicious, but whatever you do, don't leave without getting a slice of Mrs. Carolyn's cake...or better yet, take an entire cake home with you. You'll be glad you did! We already can't wait to come back.
