Service Anyone!!! Well I visited this restaurant a couple of times because I liked the location and presence inside...Unfortunatley I will NEVER return there again. Blue Bay We ate here last weekend for breakfast. The portions are very large but the food is not very good. We had to wait a long time to get a table which was surprising considering the food is not that good. The cost was little above average. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
ok I have eaten here many times, typical family restuarant . As for the person who made a comment about a waitress being like a telemarketer at least they are working. It is a hard job . Also you get what you give in attitudes
Breakfast is excellent The Blue Bay has great and large breakfasts. We think they are very good and they always have many customers. The senior meals are very reasonable. They have weekday specials on breakfast and it is always good. Great omelets.
Waitresses Flirt Instead Of Work My husband & I ate there several times & the last time we were there, well, WAS the last time. It was about 2 In the afternoon when it Is pretty empty. The waitress kept forgetting to serve us & was VERY busy Instead flirting with the bus boys behind the counter. My hubby & I are both experienced & knowledgeable about working In restaurants. Flirting Instead of working, especially when It Isn't busy doesn't look good, does It? The food Is also mediocre. We won't be back.
Mediocre Food I took the kids here for dinner as someone had mentioned the food was good and reasonable. I didn't find the prices too high, and certainly the daily specials were reasonable. They also have a kids menu that is fairly inexpensive. But the food wasn't very good. My daughter had a hamburger and it was red inside. Blue Bay Consistant and good I have eaten at Blue Bay several times. The place lacks any kind of charm and is in serious need of a make over. However the food has been consistently good and the specials are well priced and excellent. The service is good, if you tip appropriately. A lot of times when younger crowds come in they don't tip as well, they are noisy, sit in the booths longer then needed and this is a tip loss for the waitress who is waiting to seat another paying customer.
