Kelly Covel of Tribeca Pediatrics has been my three daughters’ pediatrician for about 12 years, ever since we moved to Long Island City. She is awesome. I make an effort to book with her each time. She’s friendly, lighthearted, and basically chill. She knows and remembers us and all our quirks. We have nothing but the best things to say about her.
After the attitude I dealt with yesterday from Kelly Covell because we disagree about a medication, I will be looking for a new pediatrician. My son is autistic and has severe RAD/asthma, and he's contracted the flu. I'm not going to allow someone to deny him a medication that could keep him out of the hospital ICU because she "doesn't like it." I don't really care if she has "time to debate it" with me or not.
