I scheduled with this doctor while in crisis as I have multiple autoimmune diseases and I was hoping that she could provide guidance for the ones not being managed by a specialist. There seemed to be some confusion about why I was there. I could not get the doctor to pivot to my goals, which included further testing to determine why I was feeling so badly. This doctor made an assumption about why I was there and immediately let me know that she'd be unable to help me. She assumed that I was there for rheumatology symptoms and medication, which I was not, when I was looking for guidance and coordination of my other autoimmune diseases and referrals, such as the one for Mayo to assess ganglionopathy. I would not describe her as inclusive nor autistic-friendly.
Jessica was very kind and compassionate. She really got to know me and took time to hear my concerns. Very happy with my visit!
