DO NOT SEE THIS NP - she is horrible. Does not have any compassion or understanding of how to treat others especially patients that are going to her for help and medical management of their issues and diagnosis. She is rude and judgemental. Should have known something was off when you never see anyone in her waiting room. Only way she gets referrals is because of the doctor she shares an office with. Would have given no stars but had to put something in order to post. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND EFFORT LOOK ELSEWHERE...
So, I found Claudette through Alma Therapy platform, and I called to make an appointment. Immediately, she called me back, and essentially, I called her to find some solutions to help manage my ADHD. She called me back, and immediately was wanting to get me prescribed on pills before I even had an assessment, which was red flag number one. Really great Practitioner with excellent skills; communication, engaging, easily adapts to patients making them feel comfortable in the environment. Always smiling and we know that isn’t easy with everyone’s good days and not so good days. Overall she really is a genuine person along with being a medical professional who I can easily communicate and trust in discussion of any topics.
Disgusting!! She refused to see a patient because she did not speak English! Did not offer language line/interpreter to complete the visit. Completely dismissed her and deleted the encounter from chart as if it had never occurred!
Dr Blake spent the entire intake appointment administering forms that I could have filled out in advance. At the end of an hour of answering survey questions the Dr announced she would be making changes to the medication regimen I had been on for years without my input or getting to know me other than making a diagnosis based on standardized tests. I strongly suggest Dr Blake get trained in basic counseling methods to engage clients and help them feel safe. I also suggest collaborating with clients.
