All pumps said “see attendant”, but no attendant was on duty. Around 5pm on Sunday I arrived to find all the pumps showing some message about an update in progress, see the attendant to pay. Well, the attendant had just locked up and ducked into the restroom. So, no gas for anyone. For the record, I don’t blame the attendant — workers deserve the chance to relieve themselves. I blame management for not having a Plan B when pay at the pump isn’t working.
