History Established in 2006. The mother/daughter team of Laurna and Gaia Marika opened Mr. Shorty's Tattoo Emporium on September 13, 2006. It was the culmination of a shared dream by two artists with the same vision.. to build a place where clients and artists could work together in collaboration to create the best in personal body art.

Great place, very professional, very clean, and really helpful, great customer service. Made me feel safe and comfortable about the whole experience of getting a tattoo. Mom, as everyone calls her, is a God send when it comes to putting your ideas in to a tattoo. She helped me thru the whole process and I couldn't be happier.
I got my first tattoo here back in March of '07, a custom design, and it really came out great. The artists are good and very personable, very willing to work with your ideas and make suggestions. I can't decide now whether to go with my thought about a dragon or Chris' idea of a Koidragon and dragon to go with the koi I also got there. It's a great dilemma!
I stopped in several times, to look around.The staff was always very helpful.Finally I made up my mind on a 40's pin up on my upper right arm.Chris my artist said lets go full size since you a big guy.so we did,and it's the most beautful thing.chris did one hell of a fine job.It was worth every thing.I'll be going back for a back piece.the shop is clean safe and they are professionals
I got a tattoo here about a month ago and their work was worth what I paid and in my opinion they weren't over priced and had GREAT service. I love my tattoo and when I go out people always ask me where I got it, and I always recommend Mr. Shorty's. I went into several other shops and didn't like what I saw and the Emporium seemed the cleanest and most friendly.
I stopped in at Mr. Shorty's to get some custom work done a few months ago. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the clean environment. My artist, Lore, (great lady) was very helpful with translating the art that I brought in into an awesome tattoo. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some great ink.
I was hoping to shop for some body art but there was a snappy rude little counter girl who looked like a little boy glaring at me as if I had no business in her space. I then went to look at the portfolios and this was the next disaster. Out of all the portfolios not one looked as if anyone had more than six months experience. I will not be getting any tattoos from this place.
