PLEASING TO THE PALETTE! – I stopped in with a few friends and we thought we would give the place a try. Gee what a find! We started off with some Sake and sampled their meat skewers and some of the rolls, (my favorite was their spring roll “yummy”) and baby lamb chops. All was VERY pleasing to the palette! In addition to great food we received exceptional service, a rarity in restaurants these days. The place is not very large so I would recommend making a reservation. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Domo Arigato – Was a bit hesitant due to the prior reviews but decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant is on the smaller size and a bit intimate. My wife and I shared a delicious roll named emerald beauty. We also sampled a few different robata dishes (zucchini, filet and asparagus) which we also enjoyed. I liked my experience and the service was attentive. We shall return soon!
Fake Reviews – Clearly the 5 star reviews are fake, both reviewers just joined citysearch to post these glowing reviews and posted their reviews on March 1, 3 days before the March 4th grand opening?? petboss says "I found myself in the heart of NYC and started getting hungry. Great Late Night Spot – Fantastic food here. The sushi is extremely fresh. Had the lobster ceviche which was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for a good dining experience.
THE BEST JAPENESE I EVER HAD – I have been eating Sushi and Japanese food since I was a kid. I found myself in the heart of NYC and started getting hungry. I saw Mr. Robata from the outside and liked the way it looked so I went in. The food was creative and delicious. You have to see the menu! The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. My waitress was intelligent (and very cute) I asked her to recommend the Chef's specialties and it was delicious. I am not going into to much detail but you gotta try it. I will be back Gary
