This review relates to Dr Anton Lambers, who performed a total knee replacement for me on 04 July 2023 at Wangaratta Hospital. The surgery itself was stress free with the added benefit of being able to chat with the surgical team thoughout the procedure, thanks to an epidural. Anton has a wonderful bedside manner and explained the process in a clear and calming way. My wife went and seen Richard when she was having issue's with her left knee. He said that she needed a full knee reco, but told her she was too young. Yet the only option he gave her was to 'take anti-inflammatory' tablets until she's 50 and to get her liver checked every 3 months. He also said an Arthroscopy would be 'pointless' because there's too much damage. She was living in a great deal of pain and to be sent away like that was horrendous.
