I went in for a simple oils change and ended up having to have my car towed to a mechanics shop to find out that the worker at Mr.lune had put my engine air filter in backwards which pushed all the dust and dirt into the engine. I got stuck With a $500 bill to have it flushed and cleaned. When I contacted the location I had the oil change done at the manager was pretty rude and basically said it was my fault and that he would not be reimbursing me for a mistake they “didn’t make”

I’m sharing this as a warning to others. In the spring of 2025, I took my 2016 Hyundai Tucson to a local location for a routine oil change. I was told my spark plugs were “bad” and that I had to replace them. Tech held up a spark plug they claimed was mine and compared it to a new one to show how “damaged” it was. I was also told my PCV valve was “dangerously bad,” though after I called my spouse and he spoke directly with staff, they suddenly put it back.
