Every time I go to Mr. Lube on Wale Road in Colwood they take advantage of my lack of knowledge. The first time I let them service my rear differential for $300. This last time they said the fluid was low again. I got wise though and instructed them to leave it. I took it to a real mechanic today and it was inspected throughly and I was told there are no issues except for a small potential oil leak. The leak is unlikely because of the kilometres on my car and the year. What IS more likely is they were sloppy and spilled oil ... read more
I visited Mr. Lube for what I expected to be a simple oil change, but left feeling very dissatisfied. The staff were extremely pushy with additional services, pointing out issues with my battery, coolant, transmission fluid, filters, and low engine oil. While some of these concerns may have been legitimate, the overall experience felt more like a sales pitch than an honest assessment of my vehicle.
