Great Experience These guys are awesome! From Allen the owner, to John Callear the carpenter that did the work, simply first class. John custom milled kiln dried pressure treated lumber to match the current profiles we have and extended my deck rails and spindles and installed a decorative iron gate. I am thrilled. Prompt and outstanding service, reasonable price and a quality job. What more can you ask for?
Horrible Customer Service from the Owner I would not recommend the Mr Handyman in Glen Carbon, IL. I requested a quote, and it was scheduled for a Monday at 5, and the owner called to cancel 15 minutes before the appt time, and refused to give a reason. She assured me this was not common practice, so I rescheduled. Next appt was for a Tuesday at 5. The owner again called, this time at 4:30, to cancel. sp Great work! Just called office and got an appointment for the next day. Tech was quick and knew what to do. Had all the materials on his van and was done before I thought he would be. He even gave me advise on another project he is coming back to do in 2 weeks. Would/Have definitely recommend.
Pleased customer My husband really appreciated the great job that Jim did for us. The first time, he promptly came out twice and took care of some electrical work for us. The second time, he and his installer added the beauty of pendant lights in our kitchen over a small island, and added four recessed light fixtures replacing an out of date and boring box light in our kitchen. Mr. "Handyman" is Mr. Walk Away! if the job is not easy enough for them.. My experience with Mr. handyman left me hanging and very disapointed. After waiting a month to get the work done and being told how they could do it and even "specialized" in the work during phone calls and appointment was made. The worker showed up late. His apppearance was nice and the van looked in good shape I'll say that much. But after a quick review of what I needed done the worker left saying that he would have to "walk away" from this one. Christina Had them come to my home to remove and install two new toliets. The tech was professional, tidy and quick. The rates are a little high, especially if you only have a couple of items for them to do (min charge), but definitely cheaper than doing the job wrong and then having to make repairs. I would use again.
Mr. Handyman of Central Houston is my new handyman! Knowledgeable, friendly and competent. I had several projects, from repairing cabinet doors and a few drywall patches, to replacing tile in bath, each was done efficiently and within the time estimate. Mr. Handyman Mr. Handyman of Cumberland Valley did a window for me this past summer they had to order the parts in no time the parts come in and the window was put in the job was done right the first time. Very good work I would call again for any home repairs I need.
Mr. Handyman Although they are pricey their work is top notch. If my budget allowed me to use them more often, I probably would. The staff is friendly and the handyman they send out really knows his stuff!
