My wife was admitted in emergency at Epworth three weeks ago with excrutiating back pain and we were lucky to get Mr Jalil assigned to her case. She/ We have seen many specialists, most of whom start off saying "loose some weight and get back to me". She has lived in pain for 5 years and wears it admirably. I have been treated by many medical specialists over the past 20 years or so and I can say that Mr. Jalil is one of the most compassionate and caring specialist/surgeons I have been treated by. When I contacted Mr. Jalil with some concerns I have had post surgery, he has always replied to my concerns with kindness and understanding.
Mr Jalil undertook spinal surgery on my mother at St Vincents Fitzroy last month, she’s had a terrific outcome and his communication with the family was outstanding. Thanks
