Mr Douglas Li , or Doug as he likes to be called is a very skilled surgeon. When I had my first consultation, he was very professional and knows how the knee works. Dr Li is not only a skilled surgeon (I have been advised by my GP and Osteo that they have never seen such an improvement) but he is a compassionate and caring Doctor that places his patients needs first. I had an initial consultation with Mr. Li in relation to knee pain which was excruciatingly painful. My experience was very disappointing with him. I provided an earlier MRI and recent CT scan to him, however he dismissed these and was undiplomatic about a previous surgeon who had performed an earlier procedure on my knee. Mr. Li believed my knee pain was related to my back. He told me to have an MRI on my back, lose weight, take Panadol and do light exercises every 15 minutes. Dr Li has such a brilliant beside manor and importantly a brilliant surgeon. He operated on my shoulder and happily l am fully recovered and have pain free full use, back to the gym and running again. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
