Worst service I have ever had anywhere. Sat for half an hour without even a hi or anything. Very few people were there and one couple left after waiting 20 minutes for their food. It never came. We walked out afterwords. no one cared. All the tables were dirty and they had plenty of help. Seems like they just don't care about the customers or the place they work. Sad place really. Will never go there again. Save your money.
I ordered medium fried eggs and got runny eggs. A friend ordered a cheeseburger and got no cheese. 3 of us ate for 5 minutes before the 4th person got their food. Our waitress didn't ask if we wanted drink refills or apologize for the no cheese cheeseburger but did charge us for 1/2lb burger when we ordered the smaller version. Oh and all of this greatness cost us $40. Unbelievable. Very very disappointed today.
This place was great! We drove an hour to try the place out based on John's entertaining commercials; and did NOT leave disappointed. I had a breakfast skillet and my husband had a 1/2lb burger and we both left full!! I'm 8 months pregnant so that does not come easily, lol. I only feel bad that it's been around 16 years and took us until now to try it out! Quality food and great prices; will make this a regular stop whenever we visit Rockford!

I love this place. I can't get enough of their meatloaf and REAL mashes potatoes. The hot turkey plate, biscuits and gravy, sweet tea are more of my favorites. My kids LOVE their pancakes. Big portions for a very reasonable price. We've been there at least 30 times and we're never disappointed. Definitely would recommend this diner!!!
I used to visit a lot, but then moved to Oklahoma. I make sure to frequent Mr. C's whenever I'm back in town. The food is great and reasonable, and though I have to wait for my food sometimes, I know it will be good. The owner is friendly and shares my love of all things Michigan State (Go Green) and Chicago Cubs (Go Cubbies)! I highly recommend it!
Had a great time at Mr. C's with family. My son was so happy to get Mr. C's autograph, he even gave him a hat too! We'll definitely be back for that 1 pound burger!!!
I think that Mr Cs is very friendly the food is really good ... I am kind of picky and 4 of the cooks are great at making the food . the owner is very helpful and friendly to I only live 2 blocks from there and go there as much i as I can ...I also like a few of the waitress to they are helpful and don't leave any one sitting for longer the 10 minutes with out saying something to you to let you know how stuff isor they tell you what the hold up is. ...I know this might sound funny but even when I just get a drink from Mr c t... read more
