I went to get lunch to go for myself and a coworker and we loved the food! Definitely will be coming back again! The people who work there are really nice and friendly. The restaurant is clean. No issues. Food is reasonably priced.
This is my first time trying this restaurant, and I spent $65 dollars. The mac and cheese was salty soup, the yams were dry and hard, the cornbread was undercooked and hardly sweet, the meatloaf was overcooked with not much flavor ( it had the texture of a meat brick), and I’ve never had a catfish platter that’s $ 19.50 with only one piece; usually, it’ll be two pieces of fish, and it did come with two sides ( no bread, which is also odd). People were like family. I had crab cakes and ocra. As good as Granma made! This is my new "home cookin'" restaurant! Oh yea!!!
