Be very careful hiring this company as they are deceitful, as other reviews have stated. Viking referred them to me and I had them out for my 4.5 year old range, the bake setting was not working. The tech had no clue what was wrong so called Viking. He stood there on my home camera, with my assistant in the room and told us that it was the burning element. I'm super busy but you know what? Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses and Mr. Appliance out of Huntingtown was the best thing thats happened to my family in years!!!! They got us in immediately. Other places told me 5 days, 14 days. With Mr. Appliance, I got same day service. They arrived exactly on time. That never happens. I have been trying to call this company for a week because I was overcharged. Their policy is that if the customer decides not to get the repairs done, they are only responsible for the diagnostic fee. I was charged half of the repair cost but the repairs were not done. Every time I call, the call gets routed to an answering service to someone who's not even in the state of Kentucky. Given all good ratings don’t know what happened to me. Got ripped off for $150. Tech said they had to order a part and I had to put money so they could place order. After giving him money I never heard from them again. Repeated calls and voicemails unanswered. My recommendation is DON’T use these guys.
In my opinion one needs to be wary if they choose to use Mr. Appliance, Fairfax, VA for appliance repair work. I found Mr. Appliance staff unreliable and inefficient in completing my work. I also noted a lack of professionalism and respect for me, the customer, from the company Manager, Greg. The people who answer the phone are great. Their process in providing service sucks! Make sure you know about the two-step, where they send out an incompetent fool to diagnose the probelm for $109 and then you have to wait until a more senior technician is available. Do not use this company!
I had Mr. Appliance out to evaluate and repair a refrigerator. I was told it the refrigerator would not cool due to Icemaker coil swelling and it would let the door close. Enough said and i paid the estimate of $380. Mr. Appliance came back and completed the repair and when I asked about the freezer temp the repairman stated he did not check that because he assumed it was related to the other issue. ****BEWARE OF OVERPRICE PARTS AND INCOMPLETE SERVICE.**** I wish I can give a negative star. My LG refrigerator's ice machine broke. I was suggested to call someone else but google ads got in the way and I made a mistake and called them instead (lesson learned: double-check the number).
