Update: I have called two separate HVAC repair people and explained my problem. They both assured me the ductwork is not the issue and BOTH have me on standby to come over when the furnace is not working to diagnose the exact problem. Companies I’ve never given money to are more willing to help than a company I gave thousands of dollars to. Be careful with these people. I added a brand new air conditioner and furnace to my house.
