Update: I have called two separate HVAC repair people and explained my problem. They both assured me the ductwork is not the issue and BOTH have me on standby to come over when the furnace is not working to diagnose the exact problem. Companies I’ve never given money to are more willing to help than a company I gave thousands of dollars to. Be careful with these people. I added a brand new air conditioner and furnace to my house. I called several companies to come give a quote on a heatpump install at my new to me house. Only 3 responded and MPS was the first to come out and they recommended get a system approved by the energy trust of Oregon to save money. No one else made that recommendation. It saved me $3,000 on the system. They came and quoted on Friday and were installing on Wednesday. Everyone else said 6 to 8 weeks. Clean install and very thorough with clean up.
