I own and operate Lee Myles Transmission & Auto Care located in Roslyn Heights NY. We purchased and installed an Alternator from our local warehouse. The alternator failed in less than 4 weeks while my customer was on a road trip to Michigan. He had to go to a local shop and they needed to replace the alternator. The failed alternator was handed in to MPA for a refund. MPA claimed that there was nothing wrong with their altrenator and refused to pay any compensation to either us or my customer. My review is of their component quality and support. I took my car to have an alternator replaced in September of 2020. Covid caused me to work from home so I did not drive often. Just to church and back. In January of 2024, my alternator went bad and I had to replace it. Yes... ~4 years later, but only 4000 miles later. This is equal to one oil change. My mechanic who replaced the unit told me the name of the company who remanufactured the 1st unit. It was MPA Electrical. Selwyn Joffe, CEO. The Mechanic could not help me so... read more
