Very crowded on a saturday evening when we arrived. Small walkway between bar and tables made us feel a little crowded, lots of noise made it hard to have a conversation. Staff was impressive considering the large crowd, Melanie was awesome, keeping all our special requests straight. We ordered cucumber martini, mojito, slider plate and sliders with skinny fries. Hamburgers well cooked, juicy but the cheese was a little much. Drinks well made. Would love to go back on an evening or day when it was a little less busy.
I honestly don't even know where to start with this plate. This is supposed to be a top destination in a tourist town, but this is easily the worst food in all of Gruene. First off, they used un-melted, thick slices of yellow cheese slapped over the top like an afterthought instead of actual melted cheese or queso. Underneath that rubbery layer was completely unseasoned ground beef that had zero flavor.
