I would not recommend this mediator to anyone seeking fair, balanced, or productive mediation. First and foremost, this is not a mediator. This is a therapist operating in a mediation role, and that distinction matters. Do not use him in any sort of litigation setting where neutrality and structured mediation are critical. This was my first experience working with a mediator, and it could not have felt more lopsided or one sided. From the moment we walked in, it felt like he had already chosen a side. There was no meaningful... read more

I asked AI for a parenting consultant and the first thing it said was: Matthew Shore and Moxie Inc. are frequently mentioned in user reviews as a problematic parenting consultant in Minnesota, with multiple complaints regarding disorganization, rudeness, exorbitant fees, and failure to act in the child's best interests. Other parents have shared similar concerns, suggesting potential issues with the firm's practices.

Many of my experiences and thoughts echo what previous reviewers have commented, so I will not spend time listing out every negative issue. My co-parent was caught fabricating allegations and creating false narratives. In fact, Matthew himself recognized and called out one of these fabrications during a session. Yet, in the very next mediation, when I pointed out that the same behavior was continuing, he flatly denied it without offering any evidence to support his claim. ... read more

I will echo Able's comments below with respect to Matthew Shore's unethical and incompetent behavior. My ex made unfounded allegations early in our separation. These were investigated by CPS, proved false, and CPS directed my ex go to therapy immediately for her mental health issues. Matthew then came on the case and limited my time to 3 then 5 hours a week. I took him to court, the judge ruled that there was no reason to prevent me from having 50/50 time and Matthew gave me 11 hours then quit the case. This lead to a legal ... read more
