Great find - 5 of us - lively enough but good noise level that we could chat easily. Waitress was attentive and made good recommendations for wine and food. Try the muscles, Wisconsin cheese plate, sea bass and pork chops. Tiramasu and creme brulee were amazing.
Ordered several things; seafood pasta, burrata, to name a couple. When I could go to pick and save, ok not even a decent market but woodmans, etc., and use those ingredients to make a better meal fast than I could get seated at the bar of an eating establishment… I’ve got a problem. Perhaps I had high hopes with the prime location for locals however the most optimism in Wisconsin would not make this place good. Significant bummer. Cocktails were also bad. Food was delicious staff was friendly. However there is construction ALL around Moxie and it was very distracting especially while trying to navigate & walk with my 92 year old client!! My soda was watered down too. Like barely any soda all ice!!
It's not easy to find a restaurant that has delicious food and drinks in a beautiful, cozy welcoming atmosphere with exceptional service( thank you Latasha and Ron) with a charming patio, but Moxie has achieved all of this and is still reasonably priced. Ann Marie and her team have created a place where one feels as if you are vising a friend's lovely home with delicious home cooked food .
