This is just a quick review to say that I had an absolutely lovely pregnancy and birthing experience at moxie. The midwives (and Dr. Kaiser!) are all top notch. The beauty of midwifery is the patient centered care. All of the midwives are excellent both clinically and socially. I always felt like I was being met where I was at. One of the first things I said after I gave birth to my second child is "I'm really good" at this. And while it's true that I'm pretty good at giving birth I was bolstered during both of my pregnancie... read more

I had the best pregnancy and birth experience I could have imagined with the Moxie team. I loved getting to know each person on the team at my pregnancy check ups. Our appointments were longer than they would be in a hospital so I had time to ask lots of questions and get the support I needed. I ended up being induced with a preeclampsia diagnosis at Huntington Hospital a few days before my due date. I was sad to miss out on the birth center experience, but was so grateful to have Dr. Kaiser with me at the hospital. The birt... read more

Moxie birth was incredible from start to finish, from prenatal care through to postpartum. I am a physician myself and wanted to have a safe birth in a trauma-informed setting. I was able to have a water birth with midwives Sarah and Jessica, who were amazing. Dr Kaiser supported me through some unpreventable post-partum complications. I have a healthy happy baby and am so grateful for their team and all the support they provided to us during our journey. As a doctor and a patient I recommend them to everyone I know!

Through out the process, communication with the office is very frustrating, as you will see mentioned if you look up "Moxie Care" reviews. The frustrations seemed manageable when having a simple procedure done, in my case an IUD placement, because as also mentioned, in fairness, everyone is quite nice in person, the office environment was very pleasant. However, they did not have a full ultrasound machine to check for the placement after the procedure so after two attempts to find the IUD, i was referred to radiology for con... read more

So beyond grateful to Bente, Jessica, Sara and the whole moxie team for bringing my baby into this world and supporting me through my labor. I transferred to Moxie late around 33 weeks and my son came 3 weeks early so I barely got the chance to get to know the team before I went into labor, but they still made me feel so safe and comfortable. So glad I made the decision to have my birth at Moxie!
