Today my daughter turns 6 months old and she is a Moxie baby thru and thru so today is the perfect time to write Moxie a review. Moxie went above and beyond my wildest dreams ushering me into motherhood. I could not have asked for a more compassionate, badass team. I even had a pregnancy complication that put me in the hospital for 8 weeks. I had daily visits from Dr. Kaiser and the rest of the team came weekly to check in on my morale. I never felt like their kindness and outreach was out of obligation, I felt deeply cared for. I love everything about Moxie Birth. Prior to getting pregnant, I received my well-woman care from Sarah & Bente at what was then All Women Care (later Moxie Care) on Vermont, and loved their collaborative approach to care. When I got pregnant, I knew I wanted to continue working with them at the birth center. I felt so respected and seen at all of my prenatal appointments, and appreciated the opportunity to meet and get to know different members of the Moxie team at those appointments. This is just a quick review to say that I had an absolutely lovely pregnancy and birthing experience at moxie. The midwives (and Dr. Kaiser!) are all top notch. The beauty of midwifery is the patient centered care. All of the midwives are excellent both clinically and socially. I always felt like I was being met where I was at. One of the first things I said after I gave birth to my second child is "I'm really good" at this.
