I am beyond grateful for the guidance that Viet-CARE has given me, and it’s only been a day! I was feeling hopeless but after a random google search I found Viet-CARE. I attended the API Mental Health Empowerment Conference in Clovis this past November, and found the conference to be well-organized, moving, and inspiring. My colleague and I attended and presented one breakout workshop, and we left the conference feeling truly empowered to make a difference within our community to help de-stigmatize mental health within API populations. Highly recommended for those who serve Asian Pacific Islanders and in the field of human service/ behavioral health.

I attended the Mental Health First Aid training and it was very helpful in improving and teaching me new clinical social work skills. It is especially helpful that the training has a simulation component that allows you the opportunity to practice the skills and is recorded so you can evaluate yourself. Paul is also a really talented and insightful trainer.
