Actual cost at the end of the move was double the estimate. Then the kid asked if I wanted to tip. I ended up working as a mover because it was going so slow. I have been trying to contact claims for about a month now and they keep responding with “We’re reviewing your dispute and we’ll get back to you” All around bummer. This is my second time hiring Moving Fellows. Absolutely out of this world company. Everyone was so helpful from start to finish. My movers today were Randall and Anthony. What a great pair! They were kind, fast, professional and helpful. If you're moving, put your mind at ease and chose moving fellows. Ask for Randall and Anthony!
I’ve had many movers in the past, and moving fellows unfortunately were just terrible. They were nice guys but not too professional and not very efficient. They were extremely slow, where one would just stand there and watch the other guy. I had to keep pressuring them that I only had the freight elevator for so long in our apartment building. Morgan and his crew were incredibly helpful and efficient! They showed up on time, quickly and carefully packed and loaded items and furniture, and unloaded everything without incident. I recommend them to anyone in need of assistance moving. I would hire them again without hesitation!
I am extremely displeased with the services rendered and believe I have been overcharged. Here is a timeline of the day, Friday, September 22, 2023: 12pm - two movers arrived with a truck, I walked them around to advise on what to pack and what to prioritize 1:30pm - I received a call from one of the movers saying they packed all they could in their allotted 1.5 hours and were headed over to unload 1.5 hours 1:40pm - I called them back to ensure they were going to the right address as navigation can be tricky with my new add... read more
