What a bunch of crap for reviews. If you don't like it dont go back. Most likely your the annoying one who makes my Showtime a bad experience. You probably dont tip. And you want something for free. Well guess what free isn't happening anymore. I've been going there for years. Manager and security guard very friendly.Ticket booth just is not friendly not rude. Ear plug comment – In response to your letters dated May 7th. The industry standard for sound levels in an auditorium should not exceed 85 decibels. If I were to turn the sound up to a fader level of 10 the sound would not exceed 85 decibels. On Saturday the 7th you complained that the sound was too loud and my manager changed the sound level from 5.7 (76 decibels) to 4.7 (72 decibels). Bring Ear Plugs – I loved this out of the way movie theater ever since it opened and I've been dragging all my friends to it for years which is why I'm so sad to say I'll never be back. Over the last several months, they've been showing the movies unbearably loud. I've complained about it several times, but it seems to be getting worse. Today was the last straw. Richy Road Movie Tavern Sucks – Its Convenient because its close to my house but Today I Went to see a movie and man, from a-z this was the worst experience I Have ever had at a movie theater. First off The Lady at the ticket window gave me attitude from the beginning then had a security guard bring a receipt to me in the middle of the movie to re-sign my signature because she could not read it (a Signature is not meant to be read). Great Place....BAD MANAGEMENT AND CORPORATE OFFICES – So a month back or so i went to see a midnite showing and the 3 people that were there was ryan delaycce and xavier.Delaycce was my server and boy he was great and he was funny just halarious..Now what im pissed off about is that i saw Delaycce recently and he told me he was terminated because he was at the scene of a window and some bb guns..i told him to just re-apply but he told me they dont allow it..AND THAT IS WHY I AM PISSED OFF THIS KID WAS TERMINATED FOR SOMETHIN... read more
Great place to eat and see a movie, relax have a Margarita before the show – We have been going to the Tavern on (Richey Rod and I-45 houston ) for about 3 years now, my husband and I enjoy the movies,the food and the drink, a good place to every one, try it during the week it is great is not crowded. Ignore the bad opinions try it for yourself. Bring a friend, your spouse or your child, have a great time.
Movie Tavern stinks and shisty!! – the place has a musty foul smell, management has bad attitude and are in the wrong business! food is okay! waiters do their best! they are shisty with their wi-fi! when everybody else is sharing or attracting customers with FREE wi-fi! they are saying their customers are not worth it, their must be a monthly charge for the router!
The Movie Tavern (Richey Road at 45) – I will never go to the location On Richey Road again. My 13 year old daughter wanted to treat me to the movies and we went to see Hancock it was so hot we almost passed out, nobody ever came to get our orders and it had a horrible smell and when I complained to the manager he started telling me how hot it was in his office. Request Certain Servers – I visited Movie Tavern by request of a friend. I was not happy with the management but what made me give Movie Tavern its high rating was the server name Marcel. He greeted me with such kindness and let me know about the foods he would eat. MArcel also greeted me with a joke which made me feel confortable right off the back. I will request him anytime I go back because he also made sure my food made it out the kitchen and my drinks came first. Other guest treated him with such disrespect and he stil... read more
