Two sisters who wanted to bring good quality food with taste "like your grandma would make" to this area started as caterers in 2000 and expanded by opening the restaurant in 2004. The best place for bfast.
The service was great and the food was Good but that soup was over the top loved it so if you get a chance to drop in don't forget to get soup
we ordered a bowl of soup and a house salad 20 mins ago. Soup and salad came out with our meal. no silverware, asked twice, finally got it. salad came out with no dressing, had to ask again for the dressing it was ordered with. forget refills on drinks too. just sad, we used to eat here a lot, not any more
I reccomend everything in this hidden gem of a restaurant. Most especially the wonderful cream of crab soup. Having lived in Maryland all my life I was quite surprised to find a cream of crab better than anything I had ever had in Maryland. The service was wonderful, our server was very attentive and friendly. My husband said his hamburger was perfection . I bought a quart of the crab soup on the spot for myself and was back a few days later to get one for my dad in Maryland. Definitely recommending this to everyone we know ... read more
Great food and service!
The Moveable Feast catered our May wedding at Armstrong Valley Winery in Halifax, PA. During the wedding planning process they helped us decide on meals and kept in constant contact. The price is unbeatable in the Central PA area and there are not hidden fees. Everyone LOVED the food and service went smoothly during our reception. This was one of the biggest and best decisions for our wedding!
This place is amazing. Food, prices, service, etc.... everything was perfect. Totally home cooked food. Unbelievable assortment. Great place!
