We had a pre-inspection done for a home we recently purchased. After we moved in, we found out that the plumbing and electrical hookups for the washer and dryer are not present and we had to pay $1400 out of pocket. This is something that should have been caught on the inspection. Especially since we were there when the inspector looked at it and all he said is that the dryer needs to be vented.
