Do not rent boats from this place. We got scammed! Website claimed to have “luxury” pontoon for rent. I took the bait as my whole family was coming in for Labor Day weekend. $300 for one day, non refundable. Let me say not only was I disappointed, I was totally embarrassed to show this boat to my family. Seats with major damage and taped with duct tape. Dirty seats, nasty carpets. A real luxury boat! Great Marina! Very friendly folks!
A group of us rented a house at Nolin Lake specifically to be able to go boating. We reserved a luxury Pontoon. The boat was moldy and had large duct tape patches on the seats. When we arrived the boat wouldn’t start due to a crack in the fuel tank and missing spark plugs. Apparently the marina knew the spark plugs were on back order. The marina did not notify us ahead of time to cancel the reservation (and allow us to cancel our trip). I literally found human poop in the cabin when we checked in. A giant pile of it. The lake was wonderful but do not go to the marina, all employees are on drugs and not helpful. One sat on a personal call the entire time she helped a person in line in front of me. Avoid the cabins as well, unless you enjoy finding poop. ��
Place is dilapidated staff is about as unfriendly as any I’ve seen. Stopped in Friday night to eat blond behind the counter said it’s ten minutes till we close. Well If you don’t want to cook till close post it on the door that kitchen closes at ??? Would only recommend if it’s only marina open on Nolin. Food was pretty good but the RBF from all the staff isn’t worth the headache. Hopefully one day new ownership will take over till then expect more of the same.
